Regulatory Disclosures
Who we are, what we do and do not provide, how we are paid, and how to raise a complaint.
Last updated: 14 September 2026About This Page
This page sets out the disclosures we make to students, parents, channel partners, and institutions so that anyone dealing with us understands exactly what we do, how we are paid, and what we cannot promise.
Read this page together with our Privacy Policy and B2B Terms of Use. Where a signed agreement exists with a student or partner, that agreement prevails over any general statement made here or elsewhere on the website.

Nature of Our Services
Vinayak K Academy is an independent education advisory and counselling business. We provide career assessment, course discovery, university matching, document guidance, and application support, and we operate a referral network for channel partners.
We are not a university, college, or degree-awarding body. We do not conduct examinations, deliver academic instruction, or issue any degree, diploma, or certificate of academic qualification. All academic decisions and awards are made solely by the institution a student applies to.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the University Grants Commission, AICTE, or any other regulatory authority, and we do not represent ourselves as an agent of any government body.
No Guarantee of Admission, Scholarship, or Visa
Admission decisions, scholarship awards, fee waivers, and student visa outcomes rest entirely with the relevant institution, funding body, or government authority. They apply their own criteria and may change them at any time.
- We do not guarantee admission to any institution or programme.
- We do not guarantee any scholarship, discount, or fee concession.
- We do not guarantee visa approval, and we are not immigration agents.
- We do not guarantee placement, employment, salary, or any career outcome after graduation.
Any counsellor, employee, or channel partner who offers such a guarantee is acting outside their authority. Report it to us at the grievance contact below.
Institution and Programme Information
Information about institutions, programmes, eligibility, fees, intake dates, accreditation, and rankings is sourced from the institutions themselves and from publicly available material. It can change without notice to us.
Recognition and approval status belongs to the institution, not to us. Before making a decision or paying any fee, verify the institution's current status directly on the official portal of the relevant authority — for example, the UGC, AICTE, NMC, BCI, or the equivalent regulator in the destination country.
We take reasonable care to keep listings accurate, but we do not warrant that every detail is current, complete, or error-free.
Fees and Payments
Where we charge a student for advisory or counselling services, the amount, scope, and refund position are stated in writing before any payment is taken. No charge is applied without that written disclosure.
- Tuition, registration, hostel, and examination fees are payable directly to the institution, in the institution's own name and through its official channels.
- We do not collect tuition fees on behalf of institutions unless expressly authorised in writing, and any such authorisation will be disclosed to the student.
- Payments to us are accepted only into the company bank account notified on our official invoice. We never request payment to a personal account or a UPI ID belonging to an individual.
- Third-party charges such as application fees, test fees, courier charges, attestation, and visa fees are set by those bodies and are non-refundable once paid to them.
Commission and Remuneration Disclosure
We may receive a commission, referral fee, or other remuneration from an institution when a student we have counselled enrols with that institution. This is a standard practice in education advisory.
The commission rate can differ between institutions. This creates a potential conflict of interest, and we manage it by shortlisting institutions against a student's stated academic profile, budget, and goals rather than against the commission payable to us.
A student may ask at any time whether we hold a commercial arrangement with a specific institution being recommended, and we will answer directly.
Outcomes, Testimonials, and Statistics
Success stories, testimonials, placement figures, and statistics shown on our website reflect the experience of specific individuals or cohorts at a particular time. They are illustrative and are not a prediction or representation of the result any other student will achieve.
Figures describing our network size, counselling volume, or partner count are based on our internal records as at the date of publication and are rounded. Individual results depend on academic merit, test scores, timelines, funding, and institutional criteria.
Advertising and Promotional Content
Our advertising follows applicable Indian advertising standards, including the ASCI guidelines for education advertising. Programme names, fees, and deadlines shown in campaigns are accurate as at the date of publication and are subject to change by the institution.
Channel partners are not permitted to publish advertising in our name without written approval. We are not responsible for claims made by any third party that is not an authorised partner.
Third-Party Services and Links
We work with third-party providers for hosting, communication, analytics, payment processing, document verification, and test preparation. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Links to institution portals, scholarship databases, and government websites are provided for convenience. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it.
Fraud Advisory
We never ask for payment into a personal bank account or personal UPI ID, and we never guarantee admission or a visa in exchange for a fee.
- Verify that emails come from an @vinayakacademy.com address before acting on them.
- Confirm any payment request by calling our official number listed on this page.
- Ask any counsellor or partner for their authorisation reference and verify it with us.
- Do not hand over original documents to an individual without a written acknowledgement on company letterhead.
Report suspected impersonation or fraud to us immediately at the grievance contact below, and to your local cybercrime portal where a payment has already been made.
